Hello, would you like to sign up for my free monthly newsletter? You can get my RSS Feed here too.

That’s right, the video you just watched shows two people hanging upside down trying to cook an omelette.

I met Reg at a BSES training weekend in the Peak District last month. We were on site at an outdoors centre and he asked if we were able to use the high ropes course. Moments later he was sat on a little platform, thirty feet off the ground, whisking an omelette over a little gas stove. And now, as you’ve just seen, he’s roped in (no pun intended) a sidekick for another culinary challenge.

Reg recently turned 40. Given what he’s doing to mark the occasion, I’m sure that he won’t mind my telling you. His friends suggested that he do something big to celebrate his fortieth year and that’s exactly what he is doing.

Over the coming months, Reg will be attempting to cook 40 “Extreme Omelettes”. Under normal circumstances that term would probably need explaining but, given the video clip above, I think you’ll get the idea.

Can you help Reg cook up a novel egg supper? Drop me a line if you’ve got any good ideas!
