Laura Moss left the UK in August 2013 on her bike, aiming for Australia. In a previous life she was a lawyer.
This website is run by Laura’s husband, Tim.
About Laura Moss
Laura is my wife and she joins me on most of my adventures. Often they’re her ideas in the first place but, because I’ve got the website, I tend to get all of the credit.
As well as coming up with idea the to Run the Tube, lug 10-litres of water across the Wahiba Sands (it was Laura’s work that took us to Oman), swim the Thames and walk across Patagonia with me; Laura is also a keen outdoor swimmer. She spent three years volunteering for the Outdoor Swimming Society and has swum up to 10 miles at sea, including a crossing of the Hellespont from Europe to Asia.
She was working as a solicitor in London, fitting her adventures around weekends and annual leave, until August 2013 when we both left our jobs to begin cycling around the world.
Laura is currently cycling around the world. She is also working on the following projects
Probably the largest cycle touring data set in the world. A huge collection of stats and figures from over 150 cyclists who have completed journeys of 10,000km (6,000 miles) or more.
A new UK festival for cycle tourists starting Spring 2015. Read more and sign up for updates.
Most of the photos from our around the world cycle trip are taken by Laura.
