Mark Reeve’s Life in the Vertical is irreverant, funny, raw and badly spelled. He’s a climber living in N Wales, an excellent climbing coach and photographer/writer. It would be fair to say that his writing has got him into trouble more than once. If you want to see what living the life of a climbing instructor is like, it’s a pretty good place.

Disclosure, I’m a friend of his and he dragged me up the Old Man of Hoy a few years ago.

Apart from some of the blogs you mention the only other ones I read are Adventure Journal: http://www.adventure-journal.com/ which can be quite good for cool videos and news, oh and I read my own, someone has to!

For swimming, the Outdoor Swimming Society is a good port of call, especially their map showing recommended swim spots around the UK (www.outdoorswimmingsociety.com).

David Mitchell’s column for the Observer (available online) is less about adventure but can be great for general philosophising.

For hiking/running, the Long Distance Walkers Association is brilliant – an old school website and very good value events.
