what about folks working at home? i know, i could walk/cycle/drive around the block before sitting down for work, but i’m doing that often enough with the dog anyways. so crazy thoughts please.
and the commute to/on the ship is unfortunately dictated by others… don’t think the master would let me cycle down the corridors and decks :P

Fruchtzwerg, some ideas from a fellow home-worker:

    1. Commute with someone else for the day (I walked to work with my friend Ewan last night – http://bit.ly/9yQZ7b)

    2. Stay at a friend’s place and commute back the following morning

    3. Combine it with February’s Everyday Adventure idea (http://ow.ly/1nUOXY) and travel home / to work afterwards

    4. Travel somewhere AFTER work – to a friend’s place, to a camp spot, away for the weekend, just for the sake of it

Inspired by your words I arose at 5.30 this morning to walk the 10 miles to my place of work in South Korea. I now sit by my computer energized by a feeling of fulfillment, and content that I have seen the ‘early bird’ side of Korea. Bring on the next little adventure.
