Nice Account. Keep on inspiring us with your travels. The West US has a real vibe to it.
In 2000, I got a greyhound bus pass and spent 2 months from La to Seattle, hiking in National parks.

One large trek pack, a solo tent etc. Hitchhiked – found it was easy in the west, was told quite hard in the East. Sedona , Grand Canyon 2.5 days, Grand Tetons, Rocky Mnt nat park colorado, mt Rainier nat park. Even worked a bit along the way. A real pioneer, open vibe. Hanging food so bears didnt come in my tent…
    Also Santa Fe (artistic) .
    Lots of space and innovation.

Thanks Jules. Sounds like you’ve had some great experiences out here yourself.
