A selection of films from my expeditions
Crossing Lake Baikal
Walking across the frozen surface of Lake Baikal during a Siberian winter.
Video produced by EpicMakers.
(N.B. The intro should say that Lake Baikal is *50* miles wide, not 500)
Cycling Around the World
16 months spent riding 13,000 miles around the world through 27 different countries.
Big Cycle #4: Persia/Arabia
Winter winds in Iran, hot desert in Oman, Dubai and the UAE.
Big Cycle #6: Korea, Japan, Utopia
A glorious ride across South Korea from Seoul to Busan and through Japan.
16 months of growing beard in 10 seconds.
Walking Across Patagonia
Laura, and I attempted to walk across the narrow bit of South America in January 2012. It was hot, dusty and hard work.
Around the World in 80 Ways
A circumnavigation of the globe using eighty different methods of transport to raise money for the TreeHouse school for children with autism. This is a teaser trailer that starts with me emerging from my final university exam (a little excitable).
Swimming the Thames
Laura and I started a project to swim the length of the River Thames in the summer of 2011.
Running the Tube
Running the length of every London Underground train line, Laura and I ran between Tube stations overground, completing each line in a day up to 20, 30 or 45 miles at a time.
We appeared on BBC News when we completed the challenge.
