The next London Explorers event will be Thursday 7th July 2011.
I think the first event a few weeks ago went really well. We had a good crowd and there was a nice buzz going around the room as people exchanged stories and ideas. If you couldn’t make the last one then hopefully I’ll see you in July.
After Mark Kalch’s talk about his views on life as a professional adventurer, we have John Wilton-Davies giving a talk. In 2006 John went on a solo expedition to the South Pole and he is currently preparing for what he calls the Last Great Challenge.
Same format as before: five pounds entry with a free drink, a short talk, some adventure news and then an open bar to mingle with other adventurous folks.
If you are looking for help with an expedition, want to find teammates to start one, are in need of some inspiration or just enjoy the company of adventurous folk then do come along. All welcome.
