The items below can be loaned to winners of The Next Challenge Grant as part of their award.
If you’d like to borrow any equipment then please just reference it in your application. You can either ask for something general (e.g. a stove) or specify the exact model (e.g. Primus Lite+ stove).
The following companies/people are offering equipment:
- Stanforth are offering the loan of a Kibo Expedition Bike
- Keen are offering new walking boots (which you can keep)
- 2016 grant winner Sebastian Schweizer is offering the loan of a his desalinator and ‘Armadillo’ trailer
The rest of of the equipment belongs to me. Much of it has been sent to me for review or as sponsorship for particular expeditions. I have more equipment than I need though so am happy to lend it out.
The arrangement is that I’ll send you the kit before your trip and you return it when you’re done. I pay postage to you, you pay postage back.
