If you want to quit your job and go cycling but it all seems too daunting then first buy a bike, book a plane ticket or draft your resignation letter.
If you want to get sponsorship for your expedition but don’t know how to go about it then email a company and ask for their help. They’ll probably say no if they reply at all but at least you’ll have something to build on.
If you want to do something a bit more adventurous with your weekends then don’t think about it too hard, just order some maps, look at train schedules and pack a bag.
If you want to travel the world but aren’t sure you’ve got the guts then make it easy for yourself and tell all your friends you’re going to do it. All you’ve got to do is open your mouth and peer pressure should trump nerves.
If you have the burning desire to do something big but don’t quite know what then remember that the first step does not have to be a perfectly formed giant leap. Pigeon steps are better than inertia.
If you really can’t bring yourself to do one more repetition in the gym, length of the pool or lap of the track then bypass your brain, go straight to the body and just start moving.
If you want to go for a run in the morning but lack the motivation, just start tying your shoe laces.
Yep. All the people asking me what I do, always say they can never do it. But they also never have an answer to the question ‘Why not?’.
Thank you for your inspiring post,it contains very helpful and good ideas to start.
My pleasure Mustafa!
