Heroes

Ran Fiennes’ recent summitting of Everest got me thinking about heroes. Even as a 26-year-old male, I think it is entirely acceptable to have a hero.

I have one. Several, in fact. The term might sound a little silly but the concept’s a good one: someone to look up to, someone you’d really like to be just a little bit more like. 

Sound a bit lame?

Well, wouldn’t it be worse to go through life without having ayone that inspired you? I wouldn’t be where I am now, doing what I’m doing if it weren’t for my heroes. Some of them are on these very pages and I hope that some of them will act as an inspiration for you.

 So, if you’ve not given it much thought before then don’t be shy: Who are your heroes?
