University College London has a lot to answer for.
It gave me a degree, lots of friends and a few hangovers, but it also gave me a first class ticket on board the heady train that is adventure.
The UCL Expedition & Travel Committee funded my first three big adventures – Kyrgyzstan, Bolivia and 80 Ways – and got my excited about expeditions. (Step One).
After I graduated, they invited me to join the Committee and help to award grants and, best of all, mentor successful applicants. (Step Two).
Now I’m here, doing this.

Here are some of the UCL expeditions that I have supported in one way or another:

- Expedition Clayoquot
