We spent a month cycling across India in March and April this year. Here are a selection of snaps. You can see the whole album on Flickr.
Taking bikes on public transport is a pain but it does at least lead to lots of conversations with locals.
It was nice to be bike-free tourists for a bit.
One of the most memorable experiences was being hosted by a village (and it really was the whole village).
India is full of bright colours.
We were approached, stared at, talked to and prodded wherever we went.
…so the moments of peace were bliss.
The roads were always filled with wild animals (though thankfully this one never appeared).
I got “holi-ed” on the street one day (and it was surprisingly hard to get rid of the dye)
After repeated sickness, we eventually took a train to Delhi and hopped on a plane.
But not before Laura got some cracking photos.

Great news on the “2IC” position. I guess Free Schools can employ any old suckers can’t they?
Must be ace to have time off during the World Cup. I listen to daily podcasts, read the news online and watch YouTube clips when we get internet but am basically the most informed fan to have not watched any games.

These photos are really fantastic, Laura (& Tim). Such a pity that the experience didn’t match the visuals.
